Professional Teaching Standards Board
Wyoming teachers
and administrators are certified by the Professional
Teaching Standards Board (PTSB). The PTSB
sets standards for Wyoming teacher education
preparation programs. After the program is
approved, graduates of those programs are
granted certification to teach in Wyoming.
Individual districts in
the state hire their own staff. Many of those
districts post job vacancies on the Wyoming
School Board Association, but not all.
Individuals seeking employment may also wish
